The Hen's Den Hopes & Dreams Card

Supplies:
Patterned Paper:  Theresa Collins, Fabrications Linen (Red Brocade, Red Quatrefoil, Green Brocade)
Embellishments:  Theresa Collins, Fabrications, “Linen” Buttons (sold out at the present time), “Linen” Trinkets (sold out also also), Fabrications, Die-cut Sheet, and Ribbon:  Maya Road Striped Ribbon and May Arts Red Gingham.



Cutting Directions:
1.        Cut Red Brocade into a 5 ¼” square.
2.       Cut cream cardstock into a 5” square.
3.       Punch out red scalloped edge die cut, the hopes & dreams die cut and the circle die cut.
4.       Cut cream hounds tooth side of the Red Brocade paper into a 1 ¾ X 4” strip.
5.       Cut Red Quatrefoil paper into a 1 ¼ X 2 ½” strip.
6.       Cut Green Brocade into a 1 ¼ X ½” strip.



Assembly Directions:
1.        Stitch around cream card stock with green thread.
2.       Tie two pieces of ribbon to the key.
3.       Cut off back part of button on silver button.
4.       Sew a 6 inch strip of the green and cream ribbon with a loose stitch and pull threads to gather.
5.       Adhere cream card stock to Red Brocade card base.
6.       Pop up the round die cut and then the sentiment one on top of that.  I also popped up the key on the top and the bottom of it.
7.       Adhere hounds tooth side of Red Brocade to the right side of your card ¼ “ down from the top of the cream paper and ½ “ from the right edge of cream card stock. 
8.       Adhere Red Quatrefoil, flower side up in the center of the Red Brocade paper.
9.       Adhere Green Brocade directly below Red Quatrefoil piece.
10.   Adhere your gathered ribbon over the seam between the two pieces of patterned paper you just glued down.
11.   Attach buttons to right top corner of card.
12.   Attach popped up circle die-cut.
13.   Attach the red scalloped die cut, which I popped up to the bottom of the cream cardstock and to edge as well.  Trim excess.
14.   Adhere key under circle die-cut and on top of the red scalloped die cut.
