This is my last post as guest designer for Trendy Twine and I have had a blast these last two weeks creating some fun projects. I love My Favorite Things dies and punched one out and then put adhesive on the flower and would the twine around. I then rolled my flower and made a center of twine for the middle. This was really fun to make and I am in love with this twine. You can check out the Trendy Twine blog and store for this color as well as many more. There are also new colors coming, woo hoo, can't wait.

Happy Memorial Day. It is the beginning of summer here so what better way to celebrate than with a card that I created using EAD Designs Summer Fun stickers. I love these new papers by My Mind's Eye On the Sunny Side. They are so cheery and make me so happy. You should have come to my blog via the lovely Judith's blog. Wasn't her project amazing. Next you will be going to someone whose work I really love, Julie Ranae. If you didn't come here from Judith's blog, please go back to the EAD Designs blog and start from the beginning of the hop, you won't want to miss a stop plus there is a prize involved.
I have had such an awesome time guest designing for EAD Designs. These ladies are amazing and the products are the best to work with. Best of luck to the guest designer for June. I hope to be back as a guest again some day. Thanks for having me and have a great summer.

Lisa gave me this fruit basket to work with this month and when I saw it I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I love strawberries and knew I had found this paper strawberry template that I wanted to try out. I cut the strawberries out of red cardstock using the template and the tops from green cardstock. I ran the strawberry shape through my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. I then punched a hole in each spot indicated in the pattern and threaded through the twine and pulled it tight and tied it off. I then added the top and tied a bow. So easy and such a beautiful presentation. You should check out the blog, there are lots of wonderful projects there.
Project Materials: Bazzill Cardstock, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder, The Twinery twine, strawberry pattern.
See you soon. Hugs,

Here is my Guest Design team entry for Trendy Twine. I love the verigated colors of the twine and Lesley is so fabulous to work with. I made paper beads with this gorgeous new Prima line and used their matching paper flowers and charm to complete my bracelet. Purple is my favorite color and I love how this came out. I put Glossy accents on the beads and flowers so they are shiny and so that they will last. Be sure to pop on over to the blog and store and see all the goodies there. See you next week. Hugs,

It's that time of year when we worry about our teens with all the spring activities. Two of my daughter's good friends were in a head on collision and luckily survived. One of the girls is in my Girl Scout troop and I have watched her grow into the lovely young woman that she is. They are seniors in high school and as a result of the accident she can not attend prom nor the other senior activities. I made this card for her. She is an incredibly strong woman whose spirits are high as she heads off to rehab today. If you think of it or would be inclined to send her a prayer, we would all greatly appreciate it.
This is my card for the Twisted Sketches challenge #106. You can go to www.twistedsketches.org to check out the sketch as well as the twist.
Thanks for looking and have a great weekend.

My two projects for this post couldn't be more different, but they were each a lot of fun to create. I made the flower bucket for a good friend to put in her office to brighten her days. I went to Google Images and typed in flowers and found some templates that I liked and used them to cut out some pretty flowers. I used lots of fun Whimsy buttons as well as a lady bug on my project.
store often to see what lovely goodies Stephanie has added. This card made me happy and brought back lots of fun memories. I hope that it will for you as well. Check out the Whimsy Blog here.

Hi Everyone:I am so excited to be participating in my first blog hop as a Guest Designer for EAD Designs for the month of May. I picked out the most fun stickers and can't wait to have fun playing this month. The EAD gals are all so fabulously talented and I am sure that you will have such fun seeing all their work this week. You will be going to the lovely Lauren's blog and I am sure she will have a gorgeous creation to share. You should have come here from the EAD Designs blog. Be sure to hop to each blog and leave a comment for a chance to win.
I was so excited when I saw the Up set because my son Sean is an Eagle Boy Scout and he looks like Russell if you change his hair color. His mannerisms are similar too and it made me happy to make this card. You can find the Elephant set here.
Be sure to check out the EAD Designs blog because there are different things going on all week. I hope you have a great Monday and happy hopping.
