It's Not a Party Without Some Shine

Party time
Hi Everyone:
Here is my second card this month using the Kaiser Craft 6 1/2" square pad called Technologic. I love the nerdy feel to this set and it would be perfect for a boy. Lisa has this fabulous silver shiny paper that I just can't get enough of. I used some of my older My Favorite Things dies to make the flower shapes which are supposed to look more like gears. I also used some Bazzill black cardstock and Bo Bunny Ocean Dot cardstock. I used a sketch from the new Scrapbook and Cards Today Cardmaps 2. I used the sketch from page 4. Istamped the gear and then cut it out to put on the silver larger gear. This book has so many fabulous sketches and I hope you have a chance to pick up the book from Lisa and try some cards out.

Technologic

JUNE RAH
RobotHi Everyone:
I had such fun creating with this awesome Kaiser Craft set called Technologic and matching stamp set. I love these 6X6 pads and Kaiser Craft actually makes their pads 6 1/12' square and including 4 sheets of die cuts. There is so much that you can do with this set. This sketch came from Page Maps and is one of my favorites. Lisa also gave me a Prima Quick Dry Fluid Chalk Ink in Rusty keys which was fun and easy to use It is great to have a quick drying chalk in to work with. The hearts on the twine are stickers and seemed to go perfectly for this card. My hubby is an Engineer to this would be a perfect card for him. I hope that you have a chance to try out this sketch. The new My Favorite Things banner dies are so much fun to work with and work as perfectly on cards as they do on layouts.

6/6/12 LCOM Weekly Sketch Challenge

This is my take on Jerusha's sketch for this week. I had fun with this cheery card.  This paper line is by Kaiser Craft and it is called Fine & Sunny.  Seemed like it went together with the card and design.  I used one of My Little Bit of Whimsy birds.  I have been hoarding them, just love them.   Be sure to hop over to the LCOM Sketch blog to see what the other DT members have created for you to drool over this week.
