5/30/12 Trendy Twine Guest Design Team Post

This is my last post as guest designer for Trendy Twine and I have had a blast these last two weeks creating some fun projects.  I love My Favorite Things dies and punched one out and then put adhesive on the flower and would the twine around.  I then rolled my flower and made a center of twine for the middle.  This was really fun to make and I am in love with this twine.  You can check out the Trendy Twine blog and store for this color as well as many more.  There are also new colors coming, woo hoo, can't wait.

5/29/12 LCOM Weekly Card Sketch

I love this sketch by Kimberly.  I just bought these new dienamics by My Favorite Things at my LSS, Right at Home Scrapbooking and couldn't wait to open the package.  I love these elegant papers from Kaiser Craft called Sweet Nothings.  The stickers are from EAD Designs of course, love them.  Thanks for looking and be sure to check out the LCOM Sketch Blog to see what everyone else did with the sketch.

EAD Designs 5/28/12 Blog Hop

Happy Memorial Day.  It is the beginning of summer here so what better way to celebrate than with a card that I created using EAD Designs Summer Fun stickers.  I love these new papers by My Mind's Eye On the Sunny Side.  They are so cheery and make me so happy.  You should have come to my blog via the lovely Judith's blog.  Wasn't her project amazing.  Next you will be going to someone whose work I really love, Julie Ranae.  If you didn't come here from Judith's blog, please go back to the EAD Designs blog and start from the beginning of the hop, you won't want to miss a stop plus there is a prize involved.
I have had such an awesome time guest designing for EAD Designs.  These ladies are amazing and the products are the best to work with.  Best of luck to the guest designer for June.  I hope to be back as a guest again some day.  Thanks for having me and have a great summer.

Aaaah, Sweet Summery Strawberries

Lisa gave me this fruit basket to work with this month and when I saw it I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I love strawberries and knew I had found this paper strawberry template that I wanted to try out. I cut the strawberries out of red cardstock using the template and the tops from green cardstock. I ran the strawberry shape through my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. I then punched a hole in each spot indicated in the pattern and threaded through the twine and pulled it tight and tied it off. I then added the top and tied a bow. So easy and such a beautiful presentation.  You should check out the blog, there are lots of wonderful projects there.

5/23/12 Trendy Twine Guest Design Project

Here is my Guest Design team entry for Trendy Twine.  I love the verigated colors of the twine and Lesley is so fabulous to work with.  I made paper beads with this gorgeous new Prima line and used their matching paper flowers and charm to complete my bracelet.  Purple is my favorite color and I love how this came out.  I put Glossy accents on the beads and flowers so they are shiny and so that they will last.  Be sure to pop on over to the blog and store and see all the goodies there.  See you next week.  Hugs,

This is my take on Jerusha's sketch for this week.  It was a fun one.  I used a tooth pick and covered it with twine for the mast.  I am having a great time with the Doodlebug Snips and Snails papers.  Be sure to check out what the rest of the team has done at the LCOM Sketch Blog.

EAD Designs Blog Hop 5/21/12

Welcome to my blog and the EAD Designs blog hop.  You should have come here from Judith's wonderful blog.  If you didn't, you can start at the beginning of the hop EAD Designs Blog.  Next you will be going to Julie Ranae's awesome blog.  I am so glad that she is hopping with us this week.  Missed you Julie.  I had such fun with this Groovy Stickerz set.   The colors just make me happy and I knew that I just had to have it, along with about 40 other sets, lol.  I am using the Stickerz on everything so get ready to see them a lot over the coming months.  I am so appreciative for the chance to design along side the EAD Designs team.
