Photo Booth Props The Twinery

Photo booths have been getting more popular at all kinds of events and I thought what better way to feature The Twinery twine than on these adorable photo booth props.  You can find all the luscious twine colors at The Twinery store.

I used some two sided tape to adhere the twine to the prop sticks and added a dab of glue at the bottom to attach the last little piece.  It is such an easy to thing to do and gives the props such a wonderful bright handle to hold onto.
As men age, you might notice that they appear to have some grey in their mustaches, hee , hee.  I added the bottom layer using some two sided tape and trimmed around the design of the prop.  I put the next layer of tape just above the previous layer and trimmed the twine once I was done.  I repeated this until I filled in the whole mustache.
Some of these props just make me smile, they are so fun.  I have had these fun October Afternoon papers for a long time and it was great to be able to use them.  I inked the edges of the papers as well.

I had to throw in a cow boy hat for Colleen as she goes to college in Georgia and loves country music.  I made a really long braid with six strands of twine and then put two rows of the stick tape across the hat.  I laid the braid down and trimmed the edges.

My dear friend helped me take photos of these props and she insisted that I include a photo of myself with the props as well.  So here you go.

We are Family

Here is my entry for the most recent challenge at Creative Scrappers.  I am so pleased with how this came out.  Love this Jillibean Soup Cold Avocado Soup line.  I also used some goodies from my Paper Issues Swag Bags which are just so much fun.  These photos are of my daughter and her big sister and little sister from her Georgia Tech sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta.  Hope you have a chance to play along with Kristine's latest sketch as well as enter her birthday sketch challenge.  You can find both challenges on her blog.

We Stick Together

This card just made me smile so much.  I hope that everyone who celebrates Easter had a wonderful one.  My card borders and on cute, but the occasion called for it.  I hope that you have a chance to play along with the challenge for the next two weeks using the sketch above at House of Cards.  I love this Doodlbug Hello Spring line from last y ear. I had actually used it all up and was able to get my hands on some more.  I also used a cute stamp set that I won from Joy's Life Stamps.  Of course I finished it off with some twine from The Twinery.

Celebrate SRM April Challenge

Here is my challenge card for SRM stickers.  I have so many wonderful stickers and it was such fun to play with them again.  I used the Triple Stamping method but with the stickers instead of with stamps.  Loving how it looks with the stickers and might have to try this again.  You can play along with the challenge here.

Happy Birthday Nana & Brennan- Creative Scrappers #265

We had so much fun and so many laughs at Nana's 75th the Brennan's 18th birthday party at our house on Sunday.  The cousins are so silly, we were just missing Colleen.  She would have jumped right in there for this photo.  Sean is so sweet and was so worried that he was going to hurt the kids.  Ness and I helped him get into position for the photo.

I bought a bunch of American Crafts project life papers and have not really done much with them.  This sketch by my friend Kristine Davidson at Creative Scrappers is a really fun one.  If you have time you mightr want to play along.
Hugs,
