5/23/12 LCOM Card Sketch
This is my take on Jerusha's sketch for this week. It was a fun one. I used a tooth pick and covered it with twine for the mast. I am having a great time with the Doodlebug Snips and Snails papers. Be sure to check out what the rest of the team has done at the LCOM Sketch Blog.

Welcome to my blog and the EAD Designs blog hop. You should have come here from Judith's wonderful blog. If you didn't, you can start at the beginning of the hop EAD Designs Blog. Next you will be going to Julie Ranae's awesome blog. I am so glad that she is hopping with us this week. Missed you Julie. I had such fun with this Groovy Stickerz set. The colors just make me happy and I knew that I just had to have it, along with about 40 other sets, lol. I am using the Stickerz on everything so get ready to see them a lot over the coming months. I am so appreciative for the chance to design along side the EAD Designs team.

Twisted Sketches #106
Project materials:
Sweet Afternoon papers by Theresa Collins
Brads by Theresa Collins
Sticker by EAD Designs
Markers: Tim Holtz Distress
Stamp: Lush Lilacs by Impression Obsession
It's that time of year when we worry about our teens with all the spring activities. Two of my daughter's good friends were in a head on collision and luckily survived. One of the girls is in my Girl Scout troop and I have watched her grow into the lovely young woman that she is. They are seniors in high school and as a result of the accident she can not attend prom nor the other senior activities. I made this card for her. She is an incredibly strong woman whose spirits are high as she heads off to rehab today. If you think of it or would be inclined to send her a prayer, we would all greatly appreciate it.
This is my card for the Twisted Sketches challenge #106. You can go to www.twistedsketches.org to check out the sketch as well as the twist.
Thanks for looking and have a great weekend.

5/16/12 My Little Bit of Whimsy Flowers and Pac Man Fun
Hi Everyone:
My two projects for this post couldn't be more different, but they were each a lot of fun to create. I made the flower bucket for a good friend to put in her office to brighten her days. I went to Google Images and typed in flowers and found some templates that I liked and used them to cut out some pretty flowers. I used lots of fun Whimsy buttons as well as a lady bug on my project.
For my second project I used the brand new Pac Man whimsies. I knew I just had to have them when I saw them. This is why you need to peek in the store often to see what lovely goodies Stephanie has added. This card made me happy and brought back lots of fun memories. I hope that it will for you as well. Check out the Whimsy Blog here.
Hugs,
Anita
