I am so happy to be participating with my friend Tamara's Fa-Boo-Lous Halloween Inspiration Week as a Guest Designer. We are featuring Trendy Twine Orange Licorice which you can find from a link from the blog where you can also see our wonderful projects. Trendy Twine is fabulous and you simply must check it out.
You also have to go to Tamara's site because she is having a fabulous contest and prizes for this inspiration week.
I made this cute Halloween project by blowing up a water balloon and then wrapping twine that had been dipped in a watered down Elmer's Glue. I let it dry overnight and then popped the balloon and decorated. You could really do this for any holiday and especially Easter as the balloon is kind of egg shaped.
Thank you Tamara for letting me participate in your party. Here is the awesome prize pack.

Halloween Treat Bucket
Here is my second project for this month using this awesome new color Orange Licorice. I just love it. I free hand cut out a ghost and then put adhesive on my little guy and wrapped the twine around to fill him in. I found this adorable bucket at Target in the dollar spot. This Trendy Twine color went perfectly with the Halloween Lindt Truffles that I bought to put in the tin. Be sure to play along with this month's challenge at the Trendy Twine Blog and check out what my fellow DT members have done with their twine. I have had some peeks and the projects are amazing.

I made this card for my daughter who is a freshman at Georgia Tech, I am missing her so much and wondering where all the time went. I loved when she was little and wore little frilly dresses like this one. She would have loved this dress as a little girl. I also submitted this for the Paper Issues Halloween challenge.

Boo Halloween Oreo Treat Container
Here is my group project for the challenge at Trendy Twine which was to Boo!! Too cute to spook!!! Show your favorite treat packaging with Twine. Must include Twine and something spooky but cute, i.e. die cut, images, brads, charm etc. I had such fun creating this container. I bought a Pringles can and dumped out the chips and then cleaned the container. I then used a pen and ruler to decide where I wanted the window to appear. I cut out the window using an exacto knife and then put a transparency behind the window. I used adorable papers and stickers from Bella Blvd. I used my Trendy Twine around the cover as well as on the B of the boo. Be sure to check out the Trendy Twine Blog to see what my fellow DT members have done and to enter the monthly challenge. I also submitted this for the Paper Issues Halloween challenge, which you can check out here.
