Bella Boulevard Birthday Boy Favor Tubes

Birthday tubes rah
How fun are these tubes filled with yummy M&M's.  I used Bella Boulevard's Birthday Boy line again and these tubes match the card that I did earlier this month.  I am in love with my Silhouette.  It is so easy to work with and cuts images that are intricate to easily.  I made a pom pom from some The Twinery Twine and used one of Bella's lovely little matching flags to complete the top of one tube which I decorated with a candle and a 2 I had cut out.  The other tube has the same Happy Birthday cut out as my birthday card.  I put the green layer behind the die cut image and then cut out another circle of blue cardstock and glued a toothpick in between the two layers.  I made a hole in the top of my tube and glued in the toothpick so that it will be stable.

Today and Tomorrow Card

Today and tomorrow frame
Hi Everyone:
I had a lot of fun creating this fun star card with Pink Paislee's Portfolio papers and Pink Paislee's Artisan Chipboard which you can mist or ink.  You can trully customize them with color.  I also used Adirondack Color Wash in Stream to mist the stars.  Created a banner with some twine and used some washi tape and a pearl for accents.
Today and tomorrow crop stars
Today and tomorrow car crop 1Lisa has all these great products in the store and this card which was quick and easy.  Be back soon with more fun projects.

Inspire Joy The Hens' Den Featuring Teresa Collins Vintage Finds

Inspire Joy Card
Featuring Teresa Collins Vintage Finds Collection

Well it is 2013 and with a New Year comes thoughts of things we would like to change about ourselves.  When I saw this lovely paper line by Teresa Collins I was touched by the clocks as I feel that time is flying by way too fast for my liking.  My son has completed three of his five years of college and my daughter just finished her first semester of college.  I want to devote my change to inspiring joy in the time that I do have with those I love and cherish.  To savor every minute and not worry about what is coming around the next corner.  I am a worrier by nature so I will try to let that go.  I'll keep you posted on how I am doing.

 Project Materials:
Teresa Collins Vintage Finds 6X6 Paper Pad (There are lots of lovely individual sheets including Vintage Finds Clocks)
Teresa Collins Vintage Finds Sticker Sheet #2
Ranger Distress Ink Black Soot
May Arts Crocheted Ribbon Black (The black seems to have sold out, but here is a link to the brown, which would be lovely on this card as well.)

Birthday Boy

Birthday boy editHappy Wednesday Everyone:
I was so excited when Lisa and Holly gave me this awesome Card Maker Present A to Z Embellishments for Cards book to play with.  I used Bella Boulevard Birthday Boy line to create this stair step card.  The sample I used is on pages 82 and 83 by Kimber McGray.  Lisa has these adorable papers and embellishments in stock and you can pick up the book while you are there.  I am definitely going to be making some more of the cards from the book.  The directions are very easy to follow and the supply lists complete.  I also used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the 2, the Happy Birthday circle and the candles.  It is so easy to use and I bought all the files in the Silhouette Store. You can pick up your very own Silhouette from Lisa and Sharon at the store. They have two sizes.  You won't know how you ever managed without one.

52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge

Here is my entry for the Color Challenge #13 which includes my favorite color of purple.  I had fun making the ornament 3D.  I die cut 15 ornaments, five of each color, purple, silver and white, folded them down the middle and glued each side to the next one until I wad done.  It is a little hard to see all three colors but they are there.  This was a fun one.  Be sure to check out the challenge here as it is so much fun.  The buttons are hand made by Tessa Ann Designs and I just love her buttons.  I got a ton for Christmas so you will be seeing them on more of my projects.

52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge

I am so excited to have found a blog that does Christmas cards.  I always mean to make my own Christmas cards as it is my favorite holiday, but often life gets in the way and I end up having photos printed instead.  This will give me a head start.  This week I am playing with a fun sketch.  I loved the DT inspiration as well.

You can find the blog here.

I used wonderful Christmas papers from one of my favorite manufacturers, October Afternoon and dies from  My Favorite Things.

Snowflake Fun

Snowflake
I had such fun creating this wintry card with Pink Paislee's Unbelievable and My Mind's Eye On the Bright Side.  Of course the most fun thing about this card was using my brand new Silhouette to create the snowflake.  I used a SVG file that I purchased called Winter's Chill to cut the snowflake.  I have to tell you that I am so happy with my Silhouette.  If you are on the fence about one, go in and talk to Lisa and Sharon about the one's they have for sale in the store.  Trying to cut something this intricate with the Cricut always seemed to cause me endless trouble and frustration and it is so easy now.  I also love the fact that I don't have to have books, cartridges and overlays.  Did you know that you can also put cut files on a SD card and put them into your Silhouette Cameo and cut away?  It makes taking your machine to crops so easy. I was inspired by Right at Home Pinterest Page, check it out here

Daddy's Little Girl The Hens' Den

Teresa Collins Vintage Finds
Daddy's Little Girl
Created by:  Anita Mulcahey
Hello Everyone:
Hope that you all had a wonderful New Year and an awesome holiday season.  I am really enjoying having my daughter home from Georgia Tech for her three week break.  Sadly she goes back on Saturday.  When I saw these lovely Teresa Collins Vintage Finds I just knew that I wanted to scrap some father daughter photos from her graduation cruise this past June.  I made two of the photos black and white and left the gorgeous sunset that was behind them just the way it looked.  We had a gorgeous view with our balcony off the back of the boat.  Colleen truly is Daddy's little girl and they bond over their love of all things nerdy given that he is an engineer and she is studying to be an engineer.  Below are the links for the products that I used from the lovely Hens' Den store.  I do have to just gush over the die cut borders which are to well, die for.  I also loved the die cut flowers which have a hole neatly punched in them so that you can use a brad if you so desire.  Teresa Collins is the best and I am so glad that Charlie sent me all these wonderful goodies.

Layout Materials:
Teresa Collins Vintage Finds Sticker Sheet #2
Teresa Collins Vintage Finds 36 Die Cut Flowers

Tim Holtz Coredinations Distress Collection
Black and Cream cardstock
Brads and stickers from personal stash
