Queen Kat Designs August Inspiration Challenge Blog Hop 8/24/10

Hey Everyone:

Happy Tuesday and welcome to our Queen Kat Designs Inspiration Blog Hop.  This is my last blog hop with these wonderful gals.  I am doing more teaching so I need to step down from this team.  It has been a wonderful year and I truly blessed to have worked with Vicki and all these wonderful ladies.
You can see the lovely inspiration piece above.  Shannon and Penny do such an awesome job with all the challenges.  I again used the Fashion Dress stamp and used my SU markers and colored on the stamp and then huffed on it and stamped.  This stamp is so much fun.  Be sure to check it out in the store.  You should have come to my blog via Alex's creation at the Dark Ink Sorority and should next be going to Meredith's blog.  If you didn't come here in that way you will definitely want to start at the beginning which you can do here at the Queen Kat Designs Blog.

7/27/10 It's All About The Yummy Cupcakes Queen Kat Designs Blog Hop

Hey Everyone:
Welcome to our Tuesday Queen Kat Designs Blog Hop.  The challenge this week was to find a cupcake inspirational piece on the internet and share it with you to see what we used for inspiration.  The stamp set that I used is called Sympathy Sayings.  It is very versatile and I use it often.  I used the nested templates that are brand spankin' new in the store this month on this card.  They are so versatile.  I used the template to make a fancy edge to the left side of my card.  I also used another of the Happy Stixx.  These are so appropriately named because they make me happy.  You should have come to my blog via the lovely Alex's blog.  If you did not, be sure to go back to the beginning and start the hop at the Queen Kat Designs Blog.  You will also be next hopping to the awesome Meredith's blog.  She always has amazing projects up her sleeve.  Don't forget to check out the store for the Happy Stixx and nested templates.
Hugs,
Anita

Upcycling Challenge

This week at LCOM, we are hosting another card challenge for y'all! The goal is to UPCYCLE!
Basically, that means to use (or re-use) items that are not typically thought of as scrapbooking or card-making embellishments -- store tags, packaging, ticket stubs, bottle caps. The possibilities are ENDLESS!
Check out the challenge here at Let's Capture our Memories Blog.
