Happiness is Homemade Gift Box

Anita here with a quick and easy tutorial to put together Lori's Matchbox Drawer Card Cooking.  You can find the cut files here in Lori's store and here in the Silhouette Design Store.  This is such a cute little box and you can fit many little treats in it.  This would be a great thank you gift for a good deed done.
Here are the pieces.  I cut one extra of the rectangles because I wanted my box top to use the lovely Happiness is Homemade Echo Park paper line that Lori designed.  I also used one of the die cut cardstock pieces from the matching Ephemera kit. I love to bake so this line was made for me.
Here is  the box piece.  You are going to want to fold it on the score lines and glue it together.  It is easiest to glue the tabs in place first and then glue down the ends as you will see in the photos below.

Here the box is done.
Fold the outer wrap for the box on the perforation lines and glue the tab to the end of the strip.

Here are the pieces for the card top.
You are going to want to fold in half  the 3" piece of ribbon and put it between the two layers of paper when you glue the inner piece inside the card.
You can see where I put the Die Cut from the Happiness is Homemade Echo Park Collection by Lori.  It's so cute.
Here is a view of the slide for the box.
And here we have the completed pieces.  This box went together very quickly and Lori has so many different designs for many occasions to choose from.  Lastly, you will embellish your box with the cute baking tools that are part of this cut file.  Hope you have a chance to get creative today.
Hugs,

Lori Whitlock February Blog Hop

Hi Everyone:
Welcome to Lori Whitlock's February blog hop.  How fun to actually be hopping on Valentine's Day. I made a couple of projects for my sweetie and they are so easy to put together that you still have time to make something for the special people in your life.  The above card is called Stacking Card Cross Stitch Heart and you can find it here in Lori's shop and here in the Silhouette Store.  I also used Love Valentine's Word for the front of my card and you can find that here in the Silhouette Store.  I loved the sentiment that I put inside the card and it is called Madly, Truly, Deeply Phrase and you can find it here in the Silhouette Store.
I love to sew and quilt and love opportunities to combine my two crafting passions.  I stitched a heart with twine following the cross stitch pattern.  Looks cool and didn't take long at all.
I hope that you came here from Courtney's blog and if you didn't you should go to Corri's blog and start at the beginning.  You will be going to Lezlye's blog from mine.  Here is the blog hop order:

Traci Penrod

This lovely print and cut file is called Valentine Coupon Book 2 and can be found here in Lori's store and here in the Silhouette store.

Here is a shot of some of the inside coupon pages.  This will be fun to give to my honey.

That's it for me today.  Happy Valentine's Day and happy hopping.
Hugs,
Anita
