December Pre-release party 11/30/09

It's the December pre-release party and I am so excited to share my creation with you. This is a really fun winter set called Northern Exposure. I was at a crop this past weekend and took two fabulous classes and we used the snow on my card and I just fell in love with it. It is called Snow Tex and it is by DecoArt. You should have to come to my blog by way of Linda's blog. Isn't her project awesome? Next you will be going off to see what Sara has created. QKD Royal Monday Inspiration Challenge 11/23/09








I absolutely love the inspiration this week. Maria chose a room that I would just love to have in my house. I guess that I will have to settle for my project instead. I hope that you like it to. Adornit Blog Hop




Hi Everyone:

I am so excited to be participating in the Make it Merry Blog Hop from Adorn It. I am married to the love of my life for almost 25 years and have two teenage children. I work part time from home two days per week which leaves plenty of time for papercrafting. I decided to make a treat jar filled with some fun holiday white chocolate chips that I found. I love the Be Merry set by My Mind's Eye. The papers are just fabulous. I had a lot of fun creating this and hope you might like to give it a try altering a jar. I have a lot of recipes for the mixes, let me know if you want to make one.

Adorn It Make it Merry Challenge

Coffee, Tea And Me Challenge




Make a card with the theme of coffee, tea or me. it must include the color brown and must have no white anywhere on it! simple right??

Not so...It must include... If your theme is coffee, some kind of coffee beanIf your theme is tea, some kind of tea bag. If your theme is me, a picture of you on it!

This was our challenge. I made a holiday tea holder. I realized that it is very hard for me to not use any white. I love this Mini Sweets stamp set, so darn cute and I have used it in so many ways. Vicki has a whole section of stamps just for food, yummy.

Christmas Gettings QKD Challenge


Did I mention how much fun these Queen Kat Designs stamps are and how good Vicki is to us? This is the third of five challenges for the weekend. This one it to create a Christmas Greetings card. I just love the Christmas Greetings stamp set because there is truly something for everyone.

Tiny Tim Size Really Does Matter Challenge QKD


Hey Everyone:


Happy Saturday. I am working on the next Fall Crop party at Queen Kat Designs. The challenge was to create a card using an inchie. My inchie is at the center of my stamped leaf image. I just adore this Harvest Time stamp set. Be sure to check it out in the store. I couldn't find my glossy card stock to make the background paper so I used a sheet of photo paper and my trusty brayer and Kaleidacolor autmun leaves stamp pad.

Give Thanks Challenge Queen Kat Designs is throwing us a DT party and you can win :)


I have been having such a fun time designing for Queen Kat Designs and she is throwing a party for us Thursday through Sunday to create and just have an awesome time.

Here is the challenge: You should give it a try. If you participate and link your creation back here to my blog I will put the names in a hat for some blog candy.

For this one, make any Thanksgiving 3-D project you'd like.. You're only limited by your own imagination. You can do a center peice, napkin holders, chair covers, place cards, a mantle decoration.. anything!!Must use at least 2 QKD stamps, the color red, and 2 embellishments

I used the Harvest Time stamp set which I just love and a dotted swirl set that I just love as well. I made a Mayflower boat I am from MA after all. I used red and the tag on my larger sail says Give Thanks. My smaller sail has two pieces of ribbon and a pearl headed pin. I will try to take a better picture tomorrow.

It's Our Fabulous Preview of Release Day at Queen Kat Designs
