Nikki Sivils has landed in LA

I love this car with the camper, isn't it cute?  I also really love Nikki's work.  I was at CHA summer when I went with the wonderful ladies from my LSS where I design and teach.  I wish I was there and will look forward to hearing all about it from Nikki and others.

1/23/12 Angelica's Lantern Altered Jar Hot Cocoa Treat

Happy Monday everyone. Anita here with my blog inspiration post. On of my dear friend's just had her birthday. January can be a cold month so I thought it would be fun to make her a hot cocoa treat jar. I used My Favorite Things Tag Die and them stamped Angelica on the tag. She was fun to color. I love this Fancy Pants paper which I can't get enough of. Here is a top view of the jar.
Here is the recipe if you would like to make you own.
Hot Cocoa Mix Recipe
2 cups nonfat dry milk
1 cup sugar
½ cup cocoa powder
½ cup non-dairy creamer
Dash salt
Chocolate chips
Mini marshmallows
Combine ingredients and mix well. Store in an airtight container. Yield 4 cups mix. Add 3-4 tablespoons of mix to mug and fill with water. Add some marshmallows and chocolate chips and enjoy.
You can find this along with many other wonderfully adorable images at the Inky Impressions store.
Be sure to come back and let me know if you made a jar.
Hugs,
Anita
