House of Cards Classic and Elegant Color Challenge

Welcome, welcome to all of you amazing card makers out there!  We are SO excited to welcome you to our very first ever moth of challenges here at House of Cards!  This challenge idea was the brain child of co-owner Mynnette--she wanted to have a reason to practice different card making styles and so the purpose of this challenge is to encourage YOU to branch out and try different card making styles along with her and the fabulous DT we've got here!  We hope that you will learn a lot and that you will participate with us each week here and practice your card making talents.  :)

Here is how our challenge blog works--we will have a monthly color palette or sketch and then each week we'd like to see a different card making style using those parameters.  If there is a 5th Monday in the month, we will have a photo inspiration and you can create using any card making style you'd like!  We'll also have a super fun photo inspiration challenge/blog hop that will happen at the beginning of December.  If at that point you feel so inclined, we'd love to have you enter our DT call that will be running at the same time!

Now, onto our actual challenge!  This month we will be working with a fun and fresh color palette.  Please choose at least 3 of these colors to create with!

Here is the card that I made as part of the House of Cards Classic and Elegant Design Team.  These ladies and gentleman are seriously talented.  You simply have to play along.  What better way to try different card making styles and step out of your comfort zone.  You can play along here and have the chance to be a winner or be among the top five who participate.  Always fun to get some recognition.
