Pop Up Box Card Veterans Day

Hi Everyone:
Veterans Day is a solemn day for me as I reflect on those men and women who are serving our Country.  This card is called Pop Up Box Card Military which you can find here in her store and here in the Silhouette store.  It is very easy to put together and will surely let those serving currently or previously know that we value their service.  These cards lie flat for mailing and are so wonderful when opened.  Lori has many different styles of pop up box cards to choose from.  I used some of Lori's Echo Park collections including Summer Adventure, My Favorite Fall and I'd Rather be Crafting.
Thanks for looking and have a great day.
Hugs,

June Birthday Cards

Anita here saying happy June to everyone.  Summer is such a busy time and I like to get a jump on the occasion cards that I need for those closest to me.  I made this card for one of my best friend's to commemorate her birthday and the special place that she holds in my life.  I fell in love with this cut file in the Digiplaygound store called Buttery Flourish Gate Fold Card by Daniela Angelova.

I used some polka dotted acrylic sheets with polka dots on them from Bella Boulevard and it just elevated the elegance of this card.
These side views shows off the acrylic nicely.
Another early June birthday that I wanted to make an extra special card for is for my nephew Adam.  He is the sweetest young man and always willing to lend a helping hand.  He loves boats so I tend to always make him a boat themed card.  I found this cut file in the Digiplayground store and it is called Yacht Papercut 7X5 card by Nic Squirrell.  You should check it out.
That's it for me for today.  Be sure to check out the store for all the new goodies as both of these are new and not to be missed.

So Lucky to be Their Mom

so-lucky-best-800
Hey fellow lovers of all things The Twinery:
Anita here with a post today for Mother’s Day featuring three lovely twine colors that I used to make a woven flower to jazz up my layout and give it more dimension.  I love being a Mom and my son is about to move to Ohio, we live in MA and I am so happy for him but sad that I will miss him.  I am going to put this layout above my desk so I can see his smiling face whenever I am missing him.

I used Solid Maraschino and Midnight Blue and Marigold and my Clover Flower Loom to make the flower.  Thanks for looking and have a great day.

House of Cards November Sketch Challenge

My boss lost her father-in-law suddenly this past week and I needed to make a sympathy card.  I wanted it to be pretty but not too much.  I am sending this off to her today.  Be sure to play along with the challenge
