Our Story

Hello Everyone:

Happy Monday.  Here is my layout for the latest issue at Paper Issues called Prints Charming.  My husband and are went on a cruise to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and had this photo taken while we were on the boat.  I used the kit from Scrapbook Circle which is filled with such wonderful embellishments and papers.  I also used some of their printables on my page as well.

Pinspire Me With Paper Issues

I had such fun playing along with Paper Issues Pinspire me Monday for March.  You can check out the Paper Issues blog here and play along for a chance at one of two lovely prizes.

I fell in love with this wreath pattern from The Digi Play Ground and found a tag that I thought would work well with it as well.  The link to the cut files can be found below.  I used some brand new Doodlebug papers called Happy-Go-Lucky.  I am married to an Irish man so will love hanging this in my home.

I liked my wreath fuller so I made more of each of the patterned paper shamrocks.  I wanted the sentiment tag to match the papers so I put it with the shamrocks that were going to be the same papers as you can see below.

I have included screen shots of the original tag size and then showing how I made it smaller to fit on the wreath.  It is important to not un-group the files until after you have re-sized them or they will not fit together as they are supposed to.

Paper Issues Sketchy Saturday

It's Sketchy Saturday at Paper Issues.  We have a lovely layout sketch and this fun card one.  I created this card for my hubby. I just bought some wonderful new goodies in the Paper Issues store and was so excited to create this layout to go along with the current challenge The Perfect Pairing.  I love this photo of my kids and I which were part of Colleen's high school senior photos.

I used absolutely gorgeous papers from Dear Lizzy called Serendipity by American Crafts.  I would pop over to the Paper Issues store and pick some up before it's all gone.  The embellishments to match this collection are just as sweet.  I puffy heart love the puffy stickers and pleather bows, just sayin.

Paper Issues Design Team Announcement

I have been playing along with Paper Issues, buying from Cassie in the store and getting to know the fabulous DT for a long while now.  I am beyond thrilled to see that I was recently asked to be on the team.
I made a project using Bella Sprinkles which you can find in the store.  It is a wonderful collection of dotted papers with beautiful, stylish colors on each side.  I used the black and grey side for my igloo which goes along with the current Paper Issues challenge Say it Ain't Snow Cold Outside.

I love making home decor items that are seasonal.  I took this photo on my window sill while the snow was falling in the background.
