Inspire Me CardMaker

Mason Jar Flower Arrangement | VIBEKE DESIGN We have beautiful arrangements like these on bloomnation.com!

We have had a really rough winter here in MA and I was inspired by this gorgeous arrangement of flowers from Pinterest to create this card.  I am in love with these word wood chips from Freckled Fawn.  This card was so easy to create using dies from Memory Box and My Favorite Things.
This side view shows the dimension on my flower as I popped up the green layer and pink center.  Spring is around the corner and I can't wait.

Hello Friend CardMaker Magazine and Sakura Blog Hop

Hello Everyone:
Happy Monday.  We are starting off this week with a really fun blog hop with my fellow DT members from CardMaker Magazine Blog and Sakura.  We were lucky enough to receive some wonderful products from Sakura which I used on the card above.

I used a Memory Box Die called Verona Bouquet which was perfect for outlining with the Sakura Gelly Roll Classic White Pen.  This pen is so smooth when you work with it and dries very quickly so you don't have to worry about smudging it.

The Quickie Glue Pen is one of my favorites and is perfect for gluing down delicate pieces of paper.  I always have a stash of them on hand for these types of projects.  If you didn't come to my blog as part of the hop you are going to want to go to the CardMaker Magazine blog and start hopping there.  You should have come to my blog from the very talented Lisa Lahiff's blog and next you will be going to the amazing AJ Otto's blog.  I have also included the whole hop list below for ease of hopping.

Enjoy Today House of Cards Photo/Color Inspiration

Pretty, country, chic. Love it.

Here is my card for the fifth week challenge at House of Cards.  I absolutely love this photo and wish I had that kitchen nook.  Love the colors.  It made me think of Hydrangeas.  I used Jamie Cripps Hydrangea cut file which you can find in the Silhouette Store.  I also won some wonderful stamps from Scrappy Mom's and used that for the sentiment.  Be sure to have fun playing along with this awesome challenge at House of Cards.

Joy

It's hard to believe how quickly my Guest DT spot at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown went by.  I have loved every second of it.  I so appreciate all the wonderful comments left for me as well.  This week's challenge is an embellishment one and we were to use twine on our card.  Here is my card for this challenge.  You can play along here.

Forever Friends

This is a layout that is probably one of my favorite.  It includes flowers and leaves which are made from dies out of fabric and cork and felt.  I also die cut the scalloped circle on my electronic die cutting machine.  I have been having such fun linking up and shopping, no surprise there, at Paper Issues.  You should check out Cassie's site and store.

Daisy Card The Hens' Den

Graphic 45 - Secret Garden Collection - Daisy Card
Graphic 45 Secret Garden Collection
Designed by Anita L. Mulcahey

This is my last project with this lovely collection from The Hens' Den store and I am sad to see it go.  I might have to see if I can get more.  I was supposed to be scrapping with a dear friend on Cape Cod for our annual trip and had to leave on Friday because I had the stomach bug.  I felt better on Saturday and we got together at my house and I made this card then.  I was so glad to be able to work the post card calendar onto a card.

Supplies:
Dies:  My Favorite Things, Memory Box
