Sympathy Card Set

 Happy Columbus Day Everyone:

Anita here with a set of sympathy cards that I made for a dear friend who lost her uncle recently and he was a significant person in her life.  I love how elegant these are.  I used Lori's file called Sympathy Card Thoughts Prayers which you can find here in her store and here in the Silhouette Design store.  The second card is called Sympathy Card Comfort Strength Hope and you can find that one here in her store and here in the Silhouette Design store.  I used one of Lori's new Echo Park Paper collections called Our Wedding.  The card file comes with an insert that you can put behind the card front but I liked the colors showing through the designs.

Lori has cards for every occasion and in these times when you may be choosing to stay closer to home, you can still keep in touch with your family and friends.

Lori Whitlock September Blog Hop

It's time for the September Lori Whitlock Creative Team blog hop.  You should have come here from Kathy Skou's blog and will next be going to Aimee Kidd's blog.  I made the Impossible Card Birthday cake.  You can find a link to this file in Lori's SVG store and a link to this file in the Silhouette Design store .  I used one of Lori's Echo Park Paper collections called All Girl.  Even though these cards are called impossible, they are very easy to put together.  You can also find a Tutorial on Lori's blog to create this lovely card.

Pop Up Flower Card

 Hi:

Anita here with a fun post to make a stunning pop up flower card.  I made this card using Lori's 5X7 Pop Up Flower Card 4 which you can find the cut file for here in her shop and here in the Silhouette Design store.  I watched her You Tube tutorial which you can find on Lori's blog, here.  I used some of Lori's lovely Echo Park Paper collections including I Love Summer, My Favorite Christmas and All Boy.  I used the Sketch and Cut function on my Silhouette and you can look up a tutorial on how to use this feature on the web.

Look how lovely this card is when it is open.  I can't wait to send it off to an August birthday girl.  Be sure to check out all of Lori's Pop Up Flower Cards and watch the tutorial.  They are easy to put together once you watch the video.

April Lori Whitlock Blog Hop

Welcome to the April Lori Whitlock blog hop.  As we are all dealing with the challenges of social distancing and trying to keep our families healthy, I have been looking forward to Spring.  I made this Sliding Shadow Box Card Paris which you can find here in Lori's store and here in the Silhouette Design store.  I used a sentiment from another of Lori's cut files called Iris Shutter Card Fishbowl, which you can find here in Lori's store and here in the Silhouette Design store.

The card folds flat to 5X7 for mailing. I used Lori's new collection from Echo Park Paper called All Girl.  Such a pretty line for girls and spring projects.  Sending this off to a good friend of mine who loves Paris.

Box Card Easter Flower

Hi Everyone:

Anita here from MA where we are practicing social distancing and trying to help end this pandemic.  My creative endeavors have kept me going while having to be at home so much.  Lori has lots of wonderful cut files that you can easily whip up to bring some joy to a friend or loved one.  I created this Box Card Easter Flower which was so easy to put together and as you can see in the second photo, folds flat for mailing.  You can find this cut file here in Lori's shop and here in the Silhouette Design store.  I used some of Lori's Echo Park collections including her newest ones called All Boy and All Girl.  I also used My Favorite Christmas, My Favorite Winter and Easter Wishes.

Ooh, La, La Birthday

Happy Monday Everyone:

I have a dear friend who has a birthday coming up and she loves Paris so I made this sweet birthday card for her.  I used Lori's file called Pop Up Box Card Eiffel Tower Birthday and you can find it here in her store and here in the Silhouette store.  It is so easy to put together and Lori has tutorials for her pop up box cards.

This showed the card folded flat.  It slips nicely into the envelope. Be sure to check out all the different Pop Up Box cards Lori has.

Flower Pot Spring Cards

Anita here today with some lovely spring cards that Lori designed recently.  They are called A2 Center Step Card Flower Pot and you can find the cut files here in her store and here in the Silhouette Store.  This set comes with four different sentiments.  I made two and they are so easy to put together.  I used Lori Whitlock's Celebrate Easter collection from Echo Park for this set.

St. Patrick's Day

Hi Everyone:

Anita here with a card that I just fell in love with.  These pop up box cards of Lori's are so cute and so easy to put together.  You can find this file called Pop Up Box Card St. Patrick's Truck here in Lori's store and here in the Silhouette Store.  I made this for my son and daughter-in-law as he has and loves his truck.  I used several of Lori's Echo Park Collections to complete my card.  I used Happiness is Homemade, Celebrate Easter, I Love Winter, Celebrate Spring and some cloud stickers from the Celebrate Spring collection and those adorable enamel dots from Celebrate Easter.

This is how the card looks half way open.  The dimension is so cool on these cards.

Here it is complexly flat.  Also, Lori has a wonderful, quick video tutorial on how to put these cards together on her blog.  Hope you have a great St. Patrick's Day and be sure to check out all the fun cut files Lori has to celebrate the wearin' O the Green.

Snow, Sparkle and Shine Card

Anita here on this list Monday in January with an A2 Stacking Card Base Snowflake card which Lori Designed.  Isn't it just so cute?  I used this cut file from her store and you can also find it here in the Silhouette Store.  I used Lori's Echo Park line called I Love Winter for this card.  I love how sweet all the items that are part of this collection are.  I applied some of her matching brads and a sticker from this collection to finish off my card.

I did not pop up my layers but you certainly could to give it some more depth and dimension.

Holiday Card Trio

Hello and happy Friday:

I can hardly believe that Christmas Day is one week from today.  I whipped up these lovely shadow box Christmas cards designed by Carina Gardner which can be found in the Digi PlayGround store.  I am going to use these as thank you notes for holiday gifts that I will be lucky to receive.  I had fun playing with Stickles and Liquid Applique to take my cards to another level.  Samantha Walker is having a card challenge on the Facebook group and these cards would be perfect to participate with.

Fall Is In The Air

I hope that everyone is enjoying the colors of fall.  I love using my twine for different things and used it for my background.  Think of the color combinations that you could make.  I ran the cardstock through my Xyron to add adhesive and then adding the twine was so easy.  I used ten strands of each color.  I love how pretty it came out.  It doesn't add excess bulk to my card either.
