Gatefold Wreath Card Tutorial

Hello Everyone:
I hope that everyone is enjoying the most magical time of the year.  I have a tutorial for all of you today on how to put together Lori's Gatefold Wreath Card.  I love Lori's Gatefold cards and even used one of hers to make all the wedding invitations for my son and daughter-in-law.  They are so elegant and so easy to put together.  You can find this Gatefold Wreath Card file here in Lori's store and here in the Silhouette store.  I used one of Lori's new Echo Park Paper collections called My Favorite Christmas.
Here is a photo of the cut file pieces.
Here are the card pieces folded along their score lines. You don't have to glue together the overlapping ends of the bow, but given that this is on a card, I glued them together.  Next I glued on the ribbon part of the bow and lastly glued down the center piece using a tiny bit of glue on both sides of the bow.
I slipped the band on the folded card and added some elbellishments which are a wonderful part of this collection.
Here is the last photo which is a close up of the embellishments.
That's it for me today.  Have a great day and be sure to check out Lori's gatefold card cut files.
Hugs,
Anita

The Laundry Procedures

Hello:
Do you find yourself getting confused when you are doing laundry?  My husband does our laundry and he is always asking me how items need to be washed.  We have been noticing that lots of tags just have symbols and no words so it can be like a game of Clue to try to figure out the appropriate way to wash your clothes.  Lori is so smart and came up with The Laundry Procedures chart which you can find here in her store and here in the Silhouette store.  I resized mine so that I could fit it on one sheet of paper which I printed and then backed on some of Lori's fabulous Echo Park collection called I'd Rather Be Crafting.  I used some embellishments from the I Heart Crafting Echo Park line of hers as well.
Here is a photo of where my husband hung this in our basement.  I am glad that he will have it for reference.  That's it for me today.  Hope that you are enjoying the rest of your summer.
