April Lori Whitlock Blog Hop

Welcome to the April Lori Whitlock blog hop.  As we are all dealing with the challenges of social distancing and trying to keep our families healthy, I have been looking forward to Spring.  I made this Sliding Shadow Box Card Paris which you can find here in Lori's store and here in the Silhouette Design store.  I used a sentiment from another of Lori's cut files called Iris Shutter Card Fishbowl, which you can find here in Lori's store and here in the Silhouette Design store.
You should have come here from Kathy Skou's blog and will next be going to Brandie Harding Adams' blog.  If you didn't get here in that way then you can start at the beginning on Lori's blog. The card folds flat to 5X7 for mailing. I used Lori's new collection from Echo Park Paper called All Girl.  Such a pretty line for girls and spring projects.  Sending this off to a good friend of mine who loves Paris.

That's it for me today.  Thanks for looking and hopping and stay healthy.  Hugs,

Hi Everyone:
Welcome to the Lori Whitlock March blog hop.  You should have come here from  Kathy Skou's blog and will next be going to  Brandie Adams's blog.  I made this fun set of Shadow Box Sewing cards.  They can be found in a bundle here in Lori's store and here separately in the Silhouette Design store.  The first one on the left is called Shadow Box Card Scene Homemade and the middle one is called Shadow Box Card Scene Bobbin and the far right one is called Shadow Box Card Scene Sewing.  I used some fun Doodlebug papers to complete these projects.

This photo shows the card laying flat.

St. Patrick's Day Pop Up Box Card Jar Shaker Tutorial

Anita here with a tutorial to make Lori's lovely cut file for the Pop Up Box Card St. Patrick's Jar into a shaker card.  You can find this file here in her shop and here in the Silhouette store.

Here is a photo of the parts of the card after I cut them out.  I cut a piece of overhead projector plastic the same size as the jar.  I also used the rectangle shape tool to cut out the center of my green plaid jar top piece for the window.  I also cut a jar out of black and trimmed it even with the top of the band so that you could see the details in the jar cover.
Those are shown glued down in this photo.

Next, I took the jar outline piece and used foam tape to create both height and space for the shaker materials as you can see from the photo below.

I then started to assemble the card which is very easy to put together.  I tend to use a wet adhesive as at first it is forgiving and you can move the pieces around a bit and then it holds better than regular adhesive.  I lined up the pieces and then closed the card to make sure everything was where I wanted it.  Here are some photos of the card with the pieces ready to be adhered onto the card and with all the pieces on it.  I filled my shaker with extra shamrocks from the cut file and some sequins.  I love how festive it is.

Lastly here is a photo of the card when it is closed.  Lori has many wonderful St. Patrick's Day files which you can whip up quickly to brighten someone's day.  Thanks for looking and have a great day.
Hugs,
Anita

Print & Cut Valentine Gnomes

Hi Everyone:
Anita here with a fun and cute print and cut Valentine set for a dear friend of mine.  I used Lori's Print & Cut Valentine Gnomes SVG file which you can find here in her store and here in the Silhouette store.  I ungrouped the Valentines and used sticker paper to make the matching stickers which she can use to seal the envelopes.  This set will be a great gift and would be great for classroom Valentine's as well.  Below you can see the three Valentines that are included in the file and the two different sticker types that I made.  I used Silhouette sticker paper but there are many other brands out there.
That's it for me today.  Have a great day.

You should have started at Lori's blog and then gone to Traci Matthews Penrod's blog before coming to my blog.  After my blog you will be going to Brandie Harding Adams' blog.  You can always start at the beginning if you missed anything along the way.

I made this adorable Heart Window Treat Wrap and filled it with some cute conversation hearts.  You can find this file here in Lori's store and here in the Silhouette store.  Be sure to visit Lori's store for all your winter and early spring gifting needs.
I just found out about Lori's Pattern Fill sets.  I used her pattern fill set called Kiss Me.  You can find it here in her store.  I downloaded it, opened it on my Silhouette and then printed it to use on my project.  She has so many options to choose from.  Be sure to check them out in her store.
